This awesome and demanding tour explores 3 Colombian states on the central cordillera de Los Andes: Tolima, Caldas and Antioquia. Home to Cacaito Rodríguez, Rigoberto Urán, Sergio Higuita and many more. We climb El Sifón up to 4,150m, bathe in natural hot springs and ride through the most beautiful towns of Caldas and southwest Antioquia. Distance: ~410km and ~12,000mt of climbing in 5 riding days. Dates: January 18th to 24th, 2027. Arrival (Bogotá) and departure (Medellín). ITINERARY - Jan 18: Pick-up at El Dorado airport (Bogotá) and 4h drive to Mariquita. - Jan 19: El Sifón / Nevado del Ruiz — five climate zones up to 4,150m. Termales Tierra Viva hot springs. - Jan 20: Descent through Manizales and climb to Neira, Aranzazu and Salamina. - Jan 21: Salamina – Aguadas – La Pintada. Warm weather and pools. Hotel in Guacarí. - Jan 22: Rest day. Coffee tour and a traditional panela "trapiche". - Jan 23: Big hard climb to Jericó, one of the most beautiful towns in Antioquia. - Jan 24: Jericó – Venecia, last hard day! VAN to Medellín (1h30).
